Hi, hola everyone!

My name is Lourdes Parra. I am a 20-something-year-old navigating life. "Ohh I'm just a girl in the world.." (get it, like the No Doubt song ha!)

In all seriousness, as being a first generation college graduate, I value the resources given in higher education. With a Liberal Studies degree (Education major at CSULB) with a Public Relations Minor, having knowledge of both industries has been a unique experience as it blends both of my interests. I love anything that has to do with storytelling, entertainment, lifestyle, wellness, equity in education, and just making the world a better place. Catch me either probably referencing the latest media news, at the movie theater or diving into a good book!!

With my previous experience of internships, volunteering in local schools, churches, and working in various places, as well as balancing school work and extracurricular activities such as clubs, I have gained the ability to self-start projects, conversations as well as I’ve gained lots of time management, teamwork, organizational, media, and proactive skills. Looking forward to connecting!
